Christophe Morhange is a Professor of Physical Geography at Aix-Marseille University and the Director of the Archaeosciences Chair at EPHE-PSL-AOROC. A leading expert in geoarchaeology, his research focuses on ancient harbors across diverse historical periods and geographical regions. He has published over 350 works in the past 30 years and led major projects examining the Holocene evolution of various coastlines, the impact of environmental changes on societies and, in turn, how these societies have influenced the evolution of their surrounding environments.
