These Terms and Conditions govern all purchases made through the Archaeopress website. By placing an order with Archaeopress, you agree to these terms. If you have any questions, please contact us.
We welcome enquiries by email or phone, Monday–Friday during normal business hours. Please visit our Contact Us page for full details.
All prices are listed in UK Pounds Sterling (GBP).
Prices may change at any time without notice. Books and eBooks supplied by Archaeopress are zero-rated for VAT in the United Kingdom.
We aim to maintain stock of all titles, though many are produced on a print-on-demand basis. Orders for in-stock titles generally dispatch within approximately 48 hours. Orders requiring printing typically dispatch within 7–10 days.
Orders containing forthcoming titles will ship upon release. Mixed orders are normally consolidated into a single shipment unless we agree otherwise.
Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when Archaeopress accepts your order and issues an order confirmation email.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order prior to dispatch (for example, in the event of pricing errors or stock availability issues). If payment has been taken and an order is cancelled, a full refund will be issued.
Payments made through this website are processed securely by Opayo (formerly SagePay) or PayPal.
Card details are encrypted and processed externally; no card information is stored on the Archaeopress website or internal systems.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight, destination, and shipping method.
Your order may be fulfilled from one of several locations:
Fulfilment partners may include system-generated packing notes or logistical paperwork. These documents are not requests for additional payment.
Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import VAT, or clearance fees that may apply in the destination country.
Depending on fulfilment location, orders may or may not cross customs borders. Where no charges are collected, customers remain responsible for complying with any local tax obligations.
For guidance, please contact info@archaeopress.com before ordering.
By completing the purchase or download of an eBook or other digital product, you acknowledge that the download has begun and that the statutory right to cancel (under UK consumer law) is waived.
Customers with an online account may re-download past eBook purchases via the “My Account” section.
Institutional customers may purchase print books and multi-user eBook licences through an approved account.
All institutional payments must be made directly to Archaeopress. Fulfilment-centre paperwork should not be treated as a separate invoice.
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. If an order has not yet been dispatched, we will cancel and refund it in full.
If the order has already been dispatched, you may return it at your own expense for a refund of the cost of the books.
Damaged or faulty items will be replaced (where available) or refunded. Return postage for damaged or faulty items will be refunded.
All refunds will be processed via the original payment method.

Personal data is used only for processing orders, providing services, and (where opted in) sending marketing communications.
