Full Professor of Medieval Archaeology at the University of L’Aquila from 1994 until retirement in 2018, Fabio Redi held significant positions such as Director of the Department of History and Comparative Methodologies, Coordinator of the Doctorate in Medieval Archaeology, Coordinator of the Programme Agreement on Heritage Interpretation between the University and Natural Parks, Director of numerous archaeological excavations in Tuscany and Abruzzo, and of two missions in Cappadocia.
