About the Author

Tom Brindle is an experienced archaeological professional with a career spanning twenty years. He is currently an Associate Consultant in the Cultural Heritage and Archaeology Team at WSP in the UK, where he is the technical lead on archaeological post-excavation, as well as providing advice on archaeology and heritage more generally. Whilst at Cotswold Archaeology Tom was a post-excavation manager and was a member of The Rural Settlement of Roman Britain project.

Mark Brett is a Senior Project Officer for Cotswold Archaeology (Kemble). He has worked in British commercial archaeology for 30 years and has built up experience of both rural and urban sites spanning the prehistoric to modern periods. He has directed a number of major projects, including large-scale infrastructure schemes, progressing these through to final publication.

Jonathan Hart is a Senior Publications Officer at Cotswold Archaeology and has extensive experience of fieldwork and publication work. He is also active in community engagement and staff training.
